The SFCC Library offers a variety of opportunities for research instruction for faculty, staff and students, no matter how distant they are from the library.

Individualized Assistance

Students and faculty may receive assistance locating and receiving information and materials or using our indexes and catalogs by visiting, calling, or e-mailing the SFCC Library Reference Desk:

Class Instruction

The library schedules beginning and advanced classes on using the Internet several times each school year. Call the Reference/Information Desk to find out when the next class is scheduled.

SFCC Faculty may arrange to have individualized library research classes and tutorials. All classes are designed in consultation with the instructor to meet specific research learning objectives appropriate for the discipline.

Instructors should call to reserve a time at least 2 weeks prior to the class. All classes are geared to meet class specific research needs. Active learning and hands on activities are emphasized whenever possible.
