Don't forget to critically examine your sources:

 WHO wrote the information?
WHAT are the web page author's credentials?
 WHEN was the information written?
Is this site providing reliable information about a product or service it is selling?
Consider the viewpoint of the organization presenting the information. Is the sponsoring organization selecting facts to support its views?
Some tips for honing your evaluation skills are at the University of California Berkeley's site: http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/TeachingLib/Guides/Internet/Evaluate.html
